The unique thing about Lavender Bunny is that her dress is not crocheted on to her body, like most of the other dolls’ clothes. I crocheted her all in white and then slipped on the dress afterwards. This is also the first time I used a crochet hook of a different size. Up until this point, every single thing I made had been with a G hook. It is still my go-to hook, but I use the D hook for some things now. In this doll, I used it to make the dress. This was also the first time making a flower. So fun! I also attached the ears a little bit differently than usual. For this doll, I pinched the bottoms shut and sewed them together before attaching them to the head. I was going to add a bit of pink blush color to the inside of the ears but couldn’t find any blush so I left it out. What do most people use to color their dolls’ ears and cheeks? I’ve yet to try this out with any of my dolls.
