This is pre-pattern writing and I had actually taken the head of a previous rejected WIP of a duck to make this doll. This doll is super soft and made with a yellow sport weight yarn. What I learned from this doll is that I actually do not like to use sport weight yarn to crochet the main head/body of my amigurumis. Yes it’s soft, but I prefer a slightly sturdier feel. A slightyl thicker yarn holds the amigurumi’s shape better. So since this doll, I always use worsted weight yarn when making the main doll parts. I have yet to try an even thicker yarn but I don’t have any desire to try it.
