Haribo Bear.. one of my most popular patterns! This is one of the few that I made up very quickly after a burst of inspiration. The inspiration came in the form of my little nephew, who drags around his favorite baby bear blanket. He’s like Linus 2.0, except the blanket is a lot smaller and has a bear head attached to it! I thought it would be awfully cute to make a bedtime bear holding his own bear blanket. I wasn’t sure how the blanket was going to turn out since it’s so small. I had to crochet a few blankets before I got it right. I think I tried doing it with worsted weight yarn but it came out too thick and didn’t fold up nicely. Sport weight yarn did the trick.
